Vazhipadu

Vazhipadu in the temple includes Payasa Nivedyam (Sathasatham), offering  flying of Cocks and rice feeding to cocks and Chuttuvilakku.  During Navarathri days special poojas and vilakku are offered by devotees.  On Vijayadasami day in the presence of Bhagavathy and Pallipurathappan (Maha Vishnu) hundreds of children are brought for “Ezhuthiniruthal” and for divine blessings for knowledge and prosperity in their life.  So many marriages and first feeding (Chorunnu) of babies are conducted in the temple
